As demand grows for cost effective Construction & Demolition (C&D) waste disposal across Southeast Queensland, Terreco Resources is leading the way with practical, sustainable solutions.
In 2024, we expanded our Burleigh Heads operations with a dedicated C&D waste transfer facility, purpose-built to support the region’s building and demolition industries. Aligned with our commitment to the circular economy, this facility is designed to receive, sort, and temporarily store construction, renovation, and demolition waste before it is sent for recycling or compliant disposal.
Instead of sending all waste directly to landfill, demolition contractors, builders, and trade customers can use Terreco’s Burleigh facility as a central hub for responsible C&D waste management, helping to recover resources, reduce environmental impact, and contribute to more sustainable construction practices.
While awareness of sustainable practices is growing, there is still some resistance across the construction industry to adopting practices that support a circular economy. Many contractors, builders, and developers are yet to recognise the full benefits of using a dedicated construction and demolition (C&D) waste facility.
At Terreco, we are changing the way recycled materials are perceived. Our Burleigh Heads C&D transfer station is purpose-built to help the industry reduce waste, recover valuable materials, and improve environmental outcomes. Whether it is waste disposal, materials supply, or recycling, our team is delivering real value to the local construction sector.

Our Burleigh Heads facility accepts a wide range of construction and demolition (C&D) waste materials, including concrete, bricks, timber, metals, plasterboard, soil, and more. Whether you’re a builder, tradie, demolition contractor, waste provider, or member of the public, we make it easy to dispose of your materials responsibly.
Our Burleigh Heads C&D waste facility is staffed by experienced operators who carefully sort recoverable materials from non-recyclables and contaminants, ensuring efficient resource recovery. The facility is open Monday to Friday, providing reliable weekday access for local contractors and the public.
Recyclables are processed to create new products, such as crushed concrete aggregate, while contaminated waste is disposed of at appropriately accredited landfills.
We support the construction industry across Southeast Queensland by delivering measurable environmental, economic, and operational benefits through smart C&D waste recovery and sustainable disposal solutions.
